On April 6, 2021, "Left Bank Cup" Tasting Competition China Finals Held was successfully held online. The Sichuan International Studies University team won the championship, the Zhejiang Gongshang University team won the second place, and the Shenyang Pharmaceutical University team, which participated for the first time, won the third place.

Due to the impact of Covid-19 , the "Left Bank Cup" was suspended last year. In 2021, the organizers have overcome all difficulties and restarted the competition in the form of online competitions. The organizer specially developed an online answering software, with wine samples delivered by air to the teams of various countries, finally the competition was successfully held.
The nine domestic college and university teams have also participated in pre-match training and preparations, and achieved a very high level in the tests of knowledge and blind tasting.
